Chef Keven Kvalsten
Executive Chef Keven Kvalsten is responsible for helping to launch Twisted Fork Grille and developing many of the unique and delicious dishes. While he no longer manages the day-to-day kitchen operations, his influences are evident in every Twisted Fork meal and he consults regularly on menu development.
Currently the Executive Chef for Republic, Chef Kvalsten has been the culinary powerhouse behind several successful and well-known Twin Cities restaurants:
- Executive Chef for Napa Valley Grille in the MoA
- Co-owner of The Green Room, a highly acclaimed American bistro in Waconia offering European-influenced country fare utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients and organic offerings from local sources.
- Chef de Cuisine at the Corner Table and was involved in the opening of Café Lurcat.
Chef Kvalsten received his culinary degree from the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Mendota Heights, MN. He also attended the University of Minnesota and A.F. I. in Bourg-en-Bresse, France.
